City of Hugo Water and Trash Policy and Rates

RATES

POLICIES

Over the counter sales: $20.42 per 1,000 gal. or per trip.

Business water rates: $20.42 for the first 1,000 gal., $4.44 up to 20,000 gal., $4.49 over 20,000 gal.

Residential water rates: $16.33 for the first 1,000 gal., $4.44 up to 20,000 gal., $4.49 over 20,000 gal.

Sewer rates: $8.16 for the first 1,000 gal., $0.10 per hundred over 1,000 gal.

Customers in the City limits will have: Trash @ $15.21, C.I. @ $1.83, H.M. @ $4.18

Trash Policy (SECTION 17-202 SERVICES AND FEES FOR SAME ARE MANDATORY):

Each and every owner, tenant, occupant or lessee of any family dwelling, seperate apartment, building, office or premises within the corporate limits of the city is required by this chapter to accept and use the refuse and garbage services provided by the city and to pay to the city clerk-treasureer of the city the prescribed fee or fees for such refuse and garbage service.

City approves Street plan phase 1

RESOLUTION NO 766

HUGO, OKLAHOMA

A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE APPROVAL AND ADOPTION OF PHASE I STREET PLAN

WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Hugo, Oklahoma, A Municipal Corporation, adopted Ordinance Number 822 on the 25th day of August, 2008, which provided for a one-half cent sales tax to be used for Municipal purposes, including but not limited to the building of streets.
WHEREAS, after inspecting and examining the streets within the corporate limits of the City of Hugo, the governing body of the City has determined a Street Plan Phase I plan to implement the building of streets.
WHEREAS, the attached Street Plan Phase I, incorporated herein by reference as if fully set forth, should be adopted by the City Council of the City of Hugo, subject to core testing for those streets to be curbed and guttered.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, OKLAHOMA
The City Manager, is, and is hereby authorized and directed to implement said Street Plan Phase I subject to core testing for those streets to be curbed and guttered.
ADOPTED this 3rd day of March, 2009.

Street Plan Phase One

  • Curbed and Guttered Blocks: (11) 14th Street from Jackson to Duke
  • 9th Street from Jackson to Kirk
  • 8th Street from Jackson to Kirk
  • D Street from Jackson to E (next to Lions Park around curve to E) (2 blocks)
  • Jefferson Street from A to 2nd Street. (2 blocks)
  • 10th Street from Jackson to Bluff (2 blocks)
  • Broadway from Jackson to Clayton (2 blocks)

    These will be bid out as rebuilds w/curb and guttering and drainage in one bid package.

  • Blocks to be overlayed in phase one:
  • Victor Street from E to H (3 blocks)
  • G Street from Clayton to Texas (6 blocks)
  • E Street from W. Main South to the end (10 blocks)
  • These blocks will be bid out for light milling and overlay in one bid package.

This is a total of 30 blocks with the target completion date of mid December 2009.

Our Street Dept. will overlay during this time frame Duke from 10th to 12th, Sterrett from Hwy. 271 to K, Clayton from 2nd to Broadway, and the previously milled streets in Jay-Mac. (8 blocks)
